Great Coconut Recipe

Enter to win a free 32 ounce glass jar of Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil and then make one of my favorite recipes, seasoned coconut oil.  Offer this at your next dinner party and you’ll be the talk of your friends.  In a small saucepan combine 3 ½ Tbs coconut oil Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil, 2 Tbs finely diced onion, 1 Tbs finely diced garlic, ½ tsp basil, ½ tsp oregano, ¼ tsp paprika, ¼ tsp sea salt, 1/8 tsp fresh ground black pepper, and a touch of cayenne.  Fresh herbs are best,  but dried can be used as well.  Heat  until mixture just begins to simmer.   Don’t overheat!  Turn off heat and let sit until cool but not solidified.  Pour on a plate, add some balsamic vinegar, and dip crusty bread.  This also makes a great topping for pasta or vegetables.  Try it as a salad dressing.
